What Is Clay County Club Pickleball League?

The Clay County Club Pickleball League is a local club-vs-club league in Clay County, Florida that runs organized doubles play across multiple clubs in Northeast Florida.

What the league is

  • The league is designed specifically for club vs club competition giving local clubs in Clay County (and nearby) a structured way to compete against each other.​
  • Past participants include Oakleaf, Rolling Hills, Eagle Landing, Eagle Harbor, Ringhaver Park Lobsters and the Varnes Sweet Pickles.
  • Clubs that are unable to host 3 courts on match day can be travel teams.

Formats and nights

  • Regular offerings include Monday Night Men’s Doubles Advanced, Tuesday Night Men’s Doubles Intermediate, Thursday Night Ladies Doubles, Friday Night Mixed Doubles, and Friday Morning Senior Coed.
  • Each league has its own scoring format depending on the number of teams.

Skill levels and ratings

  • Rating guidelines for each league is posted on the league page.
  • If a player is unrated, their placement is based on the judgment of the club pro.

Cost and season structure

  • The participation fee is $150 per team per season.
  • Season champions are determined by the best record of team vs team matches across the season, with tie-breakers of head-to-head result first, then number of individual team-vs-team matches won, and finally a playoff match if needed.​
  • In some cases the season champion will be determined by an end of the season playoff.
